The windy conditions
proved difficult for all riders however the average speeds across all grades
were strong. Matt Benson with a half lap handicap continued his great form
taking out the A grade race comfortably. Lee.
Stevens outsprinted Steve Jaensch
for second. Newcomer Sequoia Frahn was too strong in the B Grade winning his
second consecutive race and making it clear that he is heading towards an A
grade debut in the near future.
The in form Dennis Robinson showed
his class in the C Grade ahead of Frank Sullivan and Angelo Ylia and will
likely be promoted to the B Grade at next week’s race.
The elder statesman and club
stalwart Gordon Lawton held off the fast finishing junior duo of Tyler Stevens
and Josh Ridley to take the win in the D Grade.
