What glorious conditions yesterday for the Loveday 45km hdcp.13 riders across 4 different hcps made for an interesting race.
Limit group consisted of Dennis Robinson, Angelo Ylia ,Ruth Strout & Peter Weston.  Chopping block gave them a 5 minute head start which consisted of Lee Rasheed, Glen Obrien, Mick Gray & Peter Burr.  Tyler Stevens & Shane Pitman departed @ the same time but a shortened race distance in front of them, 34kms to complete. Scratch group consisted of Lee Stevens, Angus Boase & Stephen Jaensch, they gave away 12 minutes to the limit bunch!
Scratch caught & passed Pitman & Stevens on the first lap. Remember they had to lap them twice! Unfortunately Lee Stevens was no longer with scratch as he had punctured and walked further than he rode! Block had caught limit on the first lap & had formed a strong peloton that worked well together. Tyler Stevens rode well to his hndcp he & Pitman were caught about 2km from the line. This left the race to the sprinters.
Sprint they did with BIG Lee Rasheed in good form, worked hard in the bunch & had the legs to finish off taking a strong win!
